Our Mission

In order to Ignite the Night one must have an ignition source created by a spark...  

• A spark that we pray this event will bring to the youth and families of Southern Maryland.  
• A spark that will light the youth with a fire from God that will extinguish the darkness that has held many down.  
• A spark that will raise the dead and cause a genuine repentance.  
• A spark that will start a lasting trend of redemption for Southern Maryland and beyond. 

This spark, this ignition source that swallows up the darkness of the night can be found in one place.  This place is Jesus Christ!  Ephesians 5: 8-14 states:

⁸In the past you were full of darkness, but now you are full of light in the Lord. So live like children who belong to the light.  ⁹Light brings every kind of goodness, right living, and truth.  ¹⁰Try to learn what pleases the Lord.  ¹¹Have nothing to do with the things done in darkness, which are not worth anything.  But show that they are wrong.  ¹²It is shameful even to talk about what those people do in secret.  ¹³But the light makes all things easy to see,¹⁴and everything that is made easy to see can become light.  This is why it is said:
    "Wake up, sleeper!
       Rise from death,
    and Christ will shine on you."        NCV
