Five years ago, Ignite the Night started as a vision and rapidly grew to a successful FREE event where the youth and families of our community came together to hear a positive message of hope and encouragement through contemporary Christian music, drama, and special speakers.  The open field in front of the stage last summer at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds, located in Leonardtown, MD, quickly filled with a crowd.  Anticipation filled the summer air as each artist performed Rock, Hip-Hop, and Rap before the excited crowd. 

This year Ignite the Night welcomes the Dove Award nominated ASHES REMAIN.  You will not want to miss them.  ASHES REMAIN is what you get when you cross Decyfer Down, Kutless, Red, and Skillet.  This Baltimore based band mixes pop with a hard edge rock sound offering heavy driving guitars, nice intricate solos, and lyrics full of hope.
